Cabela’s Wildlife Display
1 Anglers Lane, Sidney
Sidney is the favorite stop for hunters, fishermen and campers with the presence of Cabela’s Retail store and free wildlife exhibit. You’ll find more than 500 wildlife replicas from around the world here. Numerous displays can be viewed at the Retail store located along Interstate 80, from Canada Geese hovering overhead to Cabela’s “Tribute to Sportsmen” magnificent mountain display. The “Royal Challenge,” a double life-sized bronze sculpture of two elk battling for herd domination provides a photographic opportunity for visitors.
324 Chestnut Street, Potter
Located in the charming small town of Potter in western Cheyenne County, the Potter Sundry is home to the “tin roof” sundae. This cafe is open Mon-Sat from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and features an old-fashioned soda fountain in addition to the various local breakfast and lunch specials. It’s the prefect spot to take a break for a treat after an afternoon of Duckpin Bowling right next door.
