Downtown  Sounds

Downtown Sounds is Sidney’s annual summer concert series. For 2024, these free concerts will be on June 21st, July 19th, and August 16th.  The lineup for 2024 is:

June 21st – B.J. Jamison and Lucas Hoge

B.J. Jamison, a powerful performer with a magnetic stage presence from Arnold, Ne., released his new single “The Note” earlier this year. The song was written and produced by Nashville songwriter Dave Gibson. Jamison brings a unique and contagious energy to the stage that leaves audiences captivated by his soulful vocals ranging from blues and rock to folk and country.

Lucas Hoge, releasing a new album this year, is a multi-talented artist known for his powerful voice, impressive musicianship, and engaging live performances. He’s carved a niche for himself in the music industry, earning accolades and recognition for his songs and dynamic stage presence.

July 19th – Mud County and Braydon Zink

Mud County is a regional band from northeast Colorado renowned for their electrifying performances, dynamic stage presence, and bringing unforgettable performances with foot-stomping anthems and infectious energy to Sidney, Chappell, Potter, and the surrounding area.

Braydon Zink returns to Downtown Sounds from Texas for the second time with his distinctive sound and raw talent. With influences ranging from traditional country to modern rock, Zink brings a fresh and dynamic energy to the stage that sets him apart from his peers. His honest lyrics, impassioned vocals, and charisma have earned him a dedicated fan base and widespread acclaim.

August 16th – Hockett and Luke Mills

Hockett brings a fresh and modern twist to the country music genre, blending elements of traditional country with contemporary pop and rock influences.

Luke Mills has released several new singles and an album since he performed at Downtown Sounds in 2022. He is a star in the Heartland Country music scene, known for his powerful voice, heartfelt lyrics, and dynamic stage presence.

There’s no admission charge to attend Downtown Sounds and it’s open to all ages. Food, drinks (both alcohol and non-alcoholic), and sweet treats will be available for purchase from participating vendors. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. with each concert beginning at 6:30 p.m.
